Domestic flights: At the Checkpoint, passengers aged 18 and over should be prepared to present one form of government-issued photo identification (e.g. valid passport, valid driver’s license, military ID, etc.), or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g. U.S. Social Security card) in order to expeditiously pass through the security checkpoint.

Real ID

Beginning May 3, 2023, if you plan to use your state-issued ID or license to fly within the U.S., it must be REAL ID compliant. If you are not sure if your ID complies with REAL ID, check with your state department of motor vehicles.
